Around The Dock
Every Dockside gathering looks a little different, but the feeling is always the same: honest conversation, real connection, and the reminder that we don't have to do life alone.
Here's a glimpse of the conversations, connections, and quiet moments that make Dockside what it is.
We begin with intention.
Every detail is thoughtfully prepared before the women arrive.
Because community begins with hospitality.
The conversation begins.
Dockside shows up in many places, but the heart remains the same.
Hear it in Their Own Words
My first Dockside Conversations experience was in 2025, and honestly, I didn’t know what to expect.
I remember sitting in that circle with so many ladies and realizing I was one of the youngest there. At first, I felt a little intimidated and unsure if our experiences would be the same and if we can relate to each other, but that quickly changed.
The women in that room created such a safe and welcoming space. They reminded me that every woman has a story, no matter their age or where they are in life. I walked in thinking I was only there to learn from them, but I left realizing they learned from me too.
The conversations were real, deep, and vulnerable. Hearing some of the stories shared reminded me how powerful it is when women come together, listen, and support one another.
I loved the experience so much that in 2026, I brought my friend with me because I knew it was something she needed to feel for herself.
Dockside Conversations is more than just conversations, it’s a community, a safe space, and honestly, therapy for the mind and soul. —Lèasha S., Dockside Conversations-AXA Guest
I can't say enough wonderful things about Dockside Conversations! The one that took place at my house was so eye-opening and freeing! During our conversation, many of us got to deeply think about what was happening inside and how we were impacted without even realizing it. I was struggling with so much unresolved anger that I hadn't processed. I didn't even realize it was there until PJ started asking questions and opened the floor for authentic sharing. We had women with self-image issues, difficult relationships with parents and so much more. All of these women were my friends. We'd spent hours talking, yet we had never gotten that deep. I still remember the tears, the release, the joy and peace that came afterwards. I have no words for what we experienced. It was cathartic, magical and healing. I wish I lived in the DMV...I would NEVER miss a gathering!! —Candy M., Dockside Conversations Bespoke Host
The founder and host, of Dockside Conversations, Pierdtje opened her heart and her home to me before she even knew who I was.
I’d never felt so safe and seen with someone I’d only known for a few hours. To the point where I was willing to eat her food and come to her home to share my most vulnerable stories in her (cozy and serotonin-boosting) living room every month.
When you come to a Dockside event there’s no on there trying to fix you. No one trying to sell you a course on how to be “more”. There are no gimmicks, surprises, or traps.
At Dockside we rest. We share. We reflect. We pause. We are women of all different ages, in various stages of our lives sitting in our moments together.
At Dockside I am seen. I am heard. I am embraced. I am watered.
The way Pierdtje pours into her guests is so special. From the spread of treats to the rare tea blends. To the big hugs as soon as you enter the door.
I am so grateful for this creation that will continue to multiply inside and outside of the country. I always look forward to every single gathering because it truly is where real pouring takes place. Thank you for what you do. It is healing work. —Anaiya S., Dockside Conversations Guest
